Shame is a feeling which produces us a sensation of humiliation. Sometimes we feel embarrased because we think the others might have a negative opinion about something we’ve done or said. It is normal to feel ashamed sometimes and we can identify it through different sensations: high heart rate, flushed cheeks, sweating and nervousness.

  • Someone makes fun of me in front of people.
  • I have to speak in public.
  • My classmates ridicule me.
