Who is the writer of the story?
The person who has written the story is called author. The author has imagined the story in a creative and original way.
What is the work of an illustrator?
The person who has drawn all the pictures in the story is called illustrator. Nowadays, illustrators can design using a digital tool (tablet) or a physical tool (paper).
Who is the person who tells the story?
The person or voice telling the story to the reader is called narrator. There are two main types: First person: The narrator is the main character in the story. Third person: A narrator who is outside of the action of the story.
What is a character?
Who the story is about. They can be people, animals or objects. There are two main types: Main characters: the protagonist and the antagonist. Secondary characters: they are people, animals or objects that appear in the story but they are not as important as the main characters.
What is the setting of a story?
The setting is the place where the story takes place. Having information about the place can help the reader to have an idea of how the characters and their lives are.
What is the time of a story?
It represents the historic moment when the story takes place. It can refer to a moment in the past, the present or the future.
What is the problem in a story?
The problem is an issue or conflict that appears in the story. The main characters face this problem and they find a solution before the end of the story.
What are the parts of a story?
Beginning: this part of the story introduces the setting and the characters. Middle: this part of the story introduces the problem the characters must face. End: this part of the story shows how the characters solve the problem.
What is the theme in a story?
The theme is the lesson or message behind the story. The characters and their actions show what is wrong or right.
