What are odd and even numbers?
An even number is a number that can be divided into two equal groups. They end in 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8. Even numbers are divisible by 2 without remainders.
An odd number is a number that cannot be divided into two equal groups. They end in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9. Odd numbers are not evenly divisible by 2. When divided by 2, the result is a number with remainders.
