Why are numbers from 1 to 10 very important?
Kids learn to count at a really young age, usually without really understanding the meaning of numbers or their quantities. They start to recognize numbers when they are toddlers but they actually understand their meaning when they grow up and they start using quantities in real life. By the age of four, children can be able to understand quantities and that is why numbers from 1 to 10 have an important role. Numbers from 1 to 10 are the smallest quantities kids can manage; for instance: “Can I have two cookies?” or “Can I borrow 3 crayons?”.
