Conjunctions are used to connect two or more words, phrases or clauses. They help us to connect ideas within a sentence.
There are three types of conjunctions:
- Coordinating conjunctions: used to connect two clases equally important.
For example: and or but - Subordinationg conjunctions: used to connect an independent clause with
dependent clause.
For example: although or until. - Correlative conjunctions: they are pair of conjunctions used in the same sentence to
connect the clauses.
For example: either and or.
