Hey Teachers! Here you have a new resource for your classroom. The story factory is a teaching resource that contains 2 templates to generate awesome stories and 48 different cards. One template (the one with the factory design) is the one in which children can place the different cards (character, setting and event cards). The other template is the one in which children can start writing their awesome stories.
To prepare this resource you may follow these steps:
- Laminate both templates and the 48 cards individually.
- Place three adhesive velcro dots on the rectangles of the factory template.
- Place adhesive velcro dots on the back part of the 48 cards.
- Buy a board marker to write on the “writing” template.
What is creative writing?
Creative writing is a way of developing some writing skills in our students. The main characteristic of creative writing is the use of our imagination to create original texts.
It is important to work on the child’s creativity and play and explore with them so they can be able to be imaginative and create stories that are really far from reality.
Another name for creative writing is artistic writing. It is another way of making art because when the kids get free and imaginative, they can create awesome art masterpieces.
